Aim: The learner will prepare to work with children in supporting their learning and development within the relevant early years framework.
Aim: The unit is designed to assess competence to work with babies and young children to support their learning and development. This would normally cover children from birth to their 3rd birthday.
Aim: Introduce learners working with children in their early years to the importance of physical activity with an emphasis on gross motor and movement skills.
